Ghalib Al-Mashoor is having more than 27 years of work experience in various Financial & Banking Investment fields, who has extensively travelled and attended more than 200 “Economic & Investment seminars” both International and local. There are more than 500 Fund Managers, and about 2000 International contacts are in his diary since inception of his career. Al-Mashoor joined United Arab Shipping Company (GCC Govt. owned, multi Billion capital Shipping Company) in 2001 as an “Senior Financial Analyst” and promoted to become an “Investment Manager” . He is managing UASC’s multi-million Dollar Contingency Reserve Portfolio (diversified into various asset classes). Al-Mashoor’s previous employer was “Inter-Arab Investment Guarantee Corporation” (owned by 22 Arab nations – An Export Guarantee Institution) head quartered in Kuwait. He was assigned to take care of all their investments in capital markets. During the invasion of Kuwait in 1990, he was assigned to travel to IAIGC offices in Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia for taking full responsibility of the investments, in addition to Kuwait. He worked about 13 years (1988-2000) for IAIGC as the “Chief Dealer for Investments” . After and before securing Bachelor’s degree in 1985, He was offered employments in couple of Institutions in the capacity of “Financial Operations officer, Trader of U. S. Securities & FX” etc.. at BIC, Kuwait Real Estate Investment Consortium & IIC and later as the “Head of Operations “with Anderson Lloyd International (A British based financial advisory firm)“. Ghalib enjoys economic news writing and community charitable works holds a Ph.D (Doctor of Business Administration) since 2008, along with two Master degrees (Bus. Adm.) in the years 2002 & 2007.
